Understand what the official rewards terms say, and check your own account before relying on an offer.
Start with the current terms
The official Rewards Program Terms effective April 8, 2026 describe a program based on Smiles and qualifying activity. We checked those terms on September 29, 2026. Program rules can change, so use the linked official terms and your app for the current conditions. This independent site does not manage rewards accounts.
Earning depends on how you pay
The reviewed terms state that qualifying purchases made by ordering ahead or paying through the app collect 5 Smiles per dollar. Scanning and paying outside the app collects 3 Smiles per dollar. Qualifying-purchase exclusions apply, including taxes, gratuity, gift-card purchases, merchandise, and third-party delivery purchases.
That distinction means a receipt total is not automatically the amount that earns Smiles. Read the qualifying-purchase definition before estimating rewards, and use your account history to check what actually posted.
Membership levels
The reviewed terms name Buddy as the base level, Bestie after 9 qualifying visits in a calendar month, and Ride-or-Die after 15. A new qualifying visit must be at least 60 minutes after the previous one and have a final payment greater than zero after offers and discounts.
The terms also describe status-based bonus Smiles and limits. Check your account’s status and the current rules rather than assuming that every transaction counts as a new visit. We do not calculate or guarantee eligibility for a particular account.
Expiration and redemption
Under the reviewed terms, Smiles from a qualifying purchase remain active for 182 days from earning. The app’s rewards history is the place to check expiration dates. An unredeemed reward selection is described as converting back to Smiles after 30 days, retaining the original Smiles expiration date.
Do not treat selecting a reward as a way to extend its underlying expiration indefinitely. Read the conditions for the specific reward and confirm it is available before planning a purchase around it.
Keep account issues with official support
Use official support for missing Smiles, login problems, refunds, and reward redemption errors. This website cannot view your account, change a balance, or investigate a restaurant transaction. Never send account passwords or payment information through our correction form.
